Well, I wanted a tattoo that represented both contries that mean a lot to me, Japan & Canada. So I took the old Japanese flag & the Canadian one, & combined them!

Each thing represents something to me. First, the obious one being Canada & Japan. The moon shape was accident, but ended up being representing the night, which those who know me,, know I like the night very much & I don't like the sun... at all. (The moom I'm talking about was the circle in the Japanese flag, but deleted a pprtion for the Canadian maple leafe, part of the Canadian flag). The shap of the flag is to make is look like it's blowing in the wind. (Yes it doesn't exatly look like it, but it looks spiffyer this way, still looks better than the normal rectangle shap). This represents the cold, & again, those who know me, know I LOVE the cold... Yes I odd like that.

So here be my 'Japanica' flag! (It was hard to combine the name of these 2 countries withought sounding too weird... My other option was JapCa... What do you think?)

As soon as I get the chance, I'm getting this as a tattoo. (I'm also getting the japanese characters for South.)
